About
Music. Communications. Smiles. Stuff.
Hi, I'm Seth!
Welcome to my personal webzone. Since you're here, you might as well learn a bit about me.
I am a guitarist and multi-instrumentalist, recording artist and nonprofit communicator, and have the pleasure of experiencing playing with a variety of bands and incredible musicians touring around the North America. I've also been lucky to work in digital communications for five years with the St. Paul-based nonprofit, College Possible-- an organization making college admission and success possible for low-income students.
I dabble in audio and video production, recording soundtracks and video editing for short-form documentaries. I earned my Bachelor’s degree at Luther College in Decorah, IA, where I studied music composition and communications studies.
Being brought up in various locations from Minneapolis to Springwood Australia, I've been lucky to gain a fairly eclectic taste that is often reflected in my writing, music, and overall creative process. I began studying guitar at the age of 10, and spent seven years studying with jazz recording artist, Boday (Jeff Christensen).
Since I was a teenager I've enjoyed playing at multiple concert venues, clubs, weddings, bars, churches, theaters, and halls with any group from rock and jazz bands, to string ensembles and pit orchestras. I love having a huge variety of musical outlets!
Currently I am hard at work with College Possible, as well as writing and performing regularly with the Minneapolis band, General B and The Wiz. When not making or discussing music I enjoy traveling, cooking, disc golf, movies, hiking, and the occasional game of Dungeons and Dragons.
